November 21st — Mallers on to Brooklyn for Harvest Bowl Championship Game

November 21 – Brooklyn NY – The Albany Metro Mallers traveled to Brooklyn to play in the 2015 Harvest Bowl Championship. After opening the game with back to back scores and taking a 12-0 lead. Brooklyn scored 28 unanswered points and with a late 2nd quarter score the Mallers trailed 28-20 at the half. Brooklyn kicked a field goal to extend their lead to 31-20 midway through the 4th before the Mallers would score to cut the lead to 6 (31-26)  with just just less than 4 mins to play in the game. The Mallers did get the ball back with just 1:47 to play at their own 25 yard line and drove the ball down the field and the final play came as the Mallers had it 1st and 10 from the Brooklyn 25 yard line. The Final Play was a incomplete pass in the end zone and Brooklyn won the 2015 Harvest Bowl Championship 31-26. The Mallers record fell to 13-1 and their next game is the weekend of Dec 12th in Altanta GA. The Mallers are also waiting for word from the National Bowl Committee to se if they will be invited to play in Fla in January.
